FAQ
Q. How much of my monthly income should I spend on rent?
In addition to rent, there may be management fees, common area fees, parking fees, or bicycle parking fees depending on the property. Be sure to include these costs when planning your apartment search.
Q. When should I start looking for an apartment?
Many properties require tenants to give notice at least one month before moving out. Depending on the timing of your contract, you may end up paying double rent or risk not finding a new place before your move-out date.
Q. I don’t have a guarantor. Can I still sign a rental contract?
Yes. By using a guarantor company, you can sign a lease without providing a personal guarantor.
*Please note that some properties may not accept guarantor companies. We recommend looking for properties where a guarantor company can be used.
Q. What is the best time of day to view a property?
Viewing during the daytime allows you to check natural light and the surrounding environment. Some properties do not have lighting fixtures, so it may be difficult to see the room clearly if you visit in the evening.
